In Greek mythology the Mares of Diomedes (Ancient Greek: Διομήδους ἵπποι, romanized: Diomēdous hippoi), were man-eating horses belonging to Diomedes of Thrace who were stabled, according to Pliny the Elder, in the now-vanished city of Tirida.
