The Place du Carrousel (French pronunciation: [plas dy kaʁuzɛl]) is a public square in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, located at the open end of the courtyard of the Louvre Palace, a space occupied, prior to 1883, by the courtyard of the Tuileries Palace (Cour du Carrousel).
