Ruth Weiss (née Löwenthal; 26 July 1924 – 5 September 2025) was a German-born South African journalist and writer who focused on anti-racism in all its forms. She grew up as a Jew in Germany, emigrating to South Africa in 1936 where she became a self-taught journalist alongside her future husband.
