Vaalimaa (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈʋɑːliˌmɑː]) is a village in the Virolahti municipality and a border crossing point between Finland and Russia. The border crossing station was opened in 1958 as a first road traffic crossing point between Finland and Soviet Union.
