"The Riddle" (German: Das Rätsel) is a German fairy tale collected by the Brothers Grimm in Grimm's Fairy Tales in 1819 (KHM 22). It is of Aarne-Thompson type 851 ("Winning the Princess with a Riddle"). The tale is mainly used in children's adaptions of Grimm's Fairy Tales.
