The Fort of Parkan (full name Ciğerdelen parkan meaning "liver-stabbing fort" in Turkish, shortened to Çekerden) was a fortified outpost built by the Ottoman Empire in 1546 on the northern banks of the Danube opposite the city of Esztergom.
