Ivan Sivec (born 23 May 1949) is a Slovenian writer, author, lyricist and storyteller. He lives and works in Mengeš. He wrote more than 150 novels and more than 3,000 lyrics for popular music, which made him the most prolific writer in the history of Slovenian literature.
