Der Stürmer (pronounced [deːɐ̯ ˈʃtʏʁmɐ]; lit. 'The Stormer' or 'Stormtrooper' or 'Attacker') was a weekly German tabloid newspaper published from 1923 to the end of World War II by Julius Streicher, the Gauleiter of Franconia, with brief suspensions in publication due to legal difficulties.
